Rental FAQ's:

Why rent? Renting is cheaper than paying for all of your books, and you don't have a ton of books taking up space at the end of the semester! Instead of paying full price, you save and you are able to use the book all semester

Q: How does it work?

A: Simple! When you order your books, select "rental" as apposed to "new" or "used." That's all you have to do. Whether you are picking up your books in the store or having them shipped to you, your books will be marked as rentals and set aside for you!

Q: When do I have to return my rented books?

A: We know you got your books to study for your tests, so we make sure you get to keep them as long as they're needed. The book is yours to study with until the last day of finals.

Q: How do I return my book?

A: When the time comes to return your book, just bring it into the store and we'll return the book for you. You'll get a receipt for confirmation that your book was returned.

Q: Can I return my books after hours?

A: Yes you can! You can utilize our return drop box after hours! It is located in the front of our store, on the door that says "Financial aid? No problem!" There is a mail slot in that door that you can return your textbook to. We have supplies located outside during the week of finals to make returning them as smooth as possible.

Q: Can I return my books by shipping them?

A: You can, but they have to be post marked by the rental return date, and you must fill out our Rental Return Check-In Form.

Q: Can I write / highlight in it?

A: You can, but please make sure you can still read the contents of the book. Rentals are intended for multiple users, so please return the book in good condition for the next renter.

Q: The book was damaged... what can I do?

A: Hey, it happens! Light damage on books is acceptable (highlighting, bent corners, etc). If the book is too damaged (stained, torn, water-damaged, pages ripped out, smoke damage, etc...) we will charge your account for the price of the book minus what you've already paid for the rental, so you're just paying the difference. The book is then yours to keep! CALL OR EMAIL US TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO DO THIS.

Q: My book was lost / stolen... what can I do?

A: If your book was stolen, you can replace it with an identical book. If you are unable to find a replacement, it's okay, we will charge your account for the price of a new book minus what you've already paid for the rental, so you're just paying the difference. CALL OR EMAIL US TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO DO THIS.

Q: What if I want to keep my book?

A: Just call us and let us know that you would prefer to keep the book. We will charge your account for the price of the book minus what you've already paid for the rental, so you're just paying the difference. CALL OR EMAIL US TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO DO THIS.

General FAQ's:

Q: Do you offer military or teacher discounts?

A: We do! We offer 10% off of all purchases, including textbooks, and 5% off of all rental textbooks. 

Q: I won't have my money to pay for the books until Financial Aid checks go out. What should I do?

A: No problem, we have a no-cost Rent or Buy Now Pay Later program that you can use on our website at checkout or just bring in your ID and debit / credit card when you come in to get your books. We'll charge the card on the agreed upon date for the current semester, generally three weeks into the semester. Click this link for more information: Deferment Program

Q: What if I end up not needing a book?

A: You can return your books for a full refund with the first week of classes. Books must be returned in the same condition they were rented in, and payment will be returned to the original payment method. If you drop your class, please bring in your proof of drop from the registrar.
